Easy TCA

What is Easy TCA? Easy TCA is a skin peel treatment. It consists of Trichloroacetic Acid which is a chemical peeling agent and is a highly effective medium depth peel.

The TCA peels are extremely good for improving mature sun damaged skin, some facial lines and wrinkles, acne prone skin and certain levels of pigmentation discolouration.

This peel is generally well tolerated by your skin and you may continue with normal activities. To obtain the best results it is recommended that this peel is applied in 4 weekly sessions.

What is the procedure for Easy TCA? In practice there is no need to prepare the skin before the peel but on occasions we have felt it necessary to prepare certain clients prior to a peel to ensure their concerns have been targeted correctly. Therefore a full consultation and medical history are essential, including all post peel instructions.

During the peel process you will be aware of a warm sensation on your face which is perfectible bearable. The peel on your skin is neutralized by applying a certain cream so you will leave the clinic a little red and your skin may appear to look 'greasy', this is all quite normal.

For the first 2 days after the peel your skin will feel a little tight, may look a red and you may experience some skin discolouration. At the 3rd and 4th day your skin will begin to 'flake/peel', away the unwanted skin layer. This is the normal process of the peel and it is recommended you apply the necessary creams as supplied and instructed on your aftercare information.
