About Simon Lee

Simon Lee brings a vast amount of clinical experience to his patients, and has specialised in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery for over 12 years.

Mr Lee has worked and trained in some of the most famous plastic surgery hospitals in the world  including:

• Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow
• Great Ormond Street, London
• The Kleinert Institute, USA
• The Royal Adelaid Hospital, Adelaide - where the Australian craniofacial institute is based.

Choosing Bristol as his base, Mr Lee is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Frenchay Hospital and an Honorary Consultant at the Bristol Children's Hospital treating patients with congenital (birth) deformity, traumatic injuries and cancer, offering both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. 

Mr Simon Lee is on the Specialist Register of Plastic Surgeons maintained by the General Medical Council, and is a full member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons). He is a frequent attendee of pioneering cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery meetings and conferences both in America and Europe, and has also been a tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons for several years. 

Mr Lee has built up an enviable reputation over the years, offering the best surgical techniques to suit each individual patient, and is regularly recommended for both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery by GPs and other medical professionals alike. Supported by his Lifestyle Surgery team he can offer the very best in personal and professional care for every patient considering cosmetic surgery and/or non-surgical treatments. 

Before specialising in plastic surgery, Mr Lee worked in General Surgery in London and the southwest. During this time, he volunteered his time and vast experience for free, travelling around the world with Medicins Sans Frontieres as a  surgeon to help save the lives of men, women and children who were ill or injured in war torn countries such as Papua New Guinea, Somalia and Ethiopia. 

At university he cofounded The Griffin Community Trust, a multi-million pound charity, which to this day continues to provide housing for the elderly and poor in London. 

He is a family man, who has trained and worked in some of the most famous plastic surgery hospitals around the world. He has chosen Bristol as his base as he aims to put Bristol on the map as one of the very best places to be if you are considering cosmetic surgery and/or non-surgical treatments.

MBBS (London), MSc (London), FRCS (General Surgery, London), FRCS (Plastic Surgery, Intercollegiate Board - London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin).

Simon Lee is a full member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), and a tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons. BAPRAS is the official and original professional association for GMC recognised specialist plastic surgeons and is grandfathered by the Royal college of surgeons
